Excitement is growing as we are counting down one week from today when we go to the airport, smell that av. fuel and embark on our latest two month adventure. Bags are pre-packed, itinerary is finalised, bookings checked and home clean up has begun for the house and fur-baby sitter.

Part of preparation has also been checking and choosing the camera gear, and setting up my blog page on Travelpod.  All good stuff and then I got an email today advising that Travelpod is closing down. What?????  So here we are, choosing a new site which is highly recommended but to be honest its quite complicated and learning a new platform is not what I need right now.

So, 7 sleeps (and counting).  This is also a test blog, if you read it, please let me know its working by posting a comment 🙂
